    not anytime soon the way he was just talking. He wont be driving a ford. Teresa pretty much told him to fuck off.

    I think it has more to do than just money / presteige - he wants to WIN. He doesnt have the pull at DEI to make decisions to help them win. He sees it like he can either go out on his own and call the shots or join another team that's already doing the right thing.

    i think Dale does a deal similar to how jeff gordon and rick hendrick have in the #48 car....
    he can co-own with any of the top 3 chevy owners...

    i think its only between hendrick and childress or a co-owner between those and jr motorsports...

    true, but that is short term. Jr will go to another team, drive, win championships (yes, I said plural), and then buy DEI from Teresa.

    Teresa didn't tell him to fuck off. She destroyed the company her husband put his life into. This is the darkest day for DEI, and the light will only return once Teresa is out of there.

    Yes, Dale Sr is spinning in his grave right now, and that just ain' right.

    Not sure he goes back and buys DEI. I think he does his own deal and lets DEI fade away.
