    my prediction..

dont think jrm is ready for cup. Wont surpise me at all to see jr and bud end up on the 25 (bud used to be there) or at childress while truex gets the cup program started at jrm (as a satelite of childress or henderick). Both of those cars would have to qualify every week. Im not sure even the great nascar could bend and twist the rules enough to get jr in the race every week.

Well, I have heard from some reliable sources within Budweiser that that will offer to bankroll his race operation. From shop costs to payroll, all of it. Junior is their guy, he is the most popular driver in the series. A goldmine. And since beer is somewhat of a national favorite, they will have plenty of cash to cover the costs.

    Presser starting now.

he better use that money to hire some damn good people...seen a lot of drivers start their "own teams" with a lot more experience than Jr. and blow at it.

I think he will do his own thing. Maybe Co-Owner.

I'm sure its more complicated, but he wanted majority ownership at DEI, but now seems to be OK with just being a regular driver at another shop. Sounds like he's cutting his losses.

He is not going to be just another driver. He has enough of a draw to own/co-own a team.
