June 1 is a Saturday, the Mini Camp starts Monday June 3.

I'm presuming cuts will be made over the weekend.

Anybody on the bubble besides Williams?

Williams is the only name that jumps out. It's hard to tell what direction they might be leaning. All I know is that June first is closer to September than 5/29!

I don't know what the deal is with Williams, unless they're waiting to see if someone else comes out. IMO, I still have to pimp Marco Coleman at left end, if he's going to be out there. I don't know why, and partly it deals with Trgovac, but mostly because I feel he got more out of Coleman than could anyone else.

There'll have to be another cut, and I imagine we might get a surprise from it. Could be Donnalley, could be someone we're not thinking about. I dunno.

Mangum? also I have some news(rumor) on the Williams delay, I'm hearing through media relations that they are waiting to see if either of two players they project being released actually are. and then they will decide between one of those two or Williams. couldn't get confirmation on who they were but a Giants player was considered a strong Poss.

Mangum could definately be a goner. If Heinrich really shows something that is. I think Hoover and Goings are gone as well as Williams.

I'd like to see Mangum gone. Nothing personal but he's getting paid pretty good for what he brings, which isn't enough. Were he able to separate, he'd be a good TE. He can't, and therefore isn't.

    I can see Tuten going.

    Hoover?

I don't see Hoover going just simply because of our lack of depth at FB.

Williams, Mangum, and Tuten save us $3.7 million...not sure if pro-rated bonus comes in. Add Anderson's savings, that's about 4.3 million.

    4.3 million's not that bad.

Yea, Mangum has nice hands but will never dominate in this league IMO. Crawford and Heinrich probably have more upside and both are cheaper.

Is there any chance that Rashard Anderson gets cut? He is cheap now that only half his salary counts against us, but the org might be at a zero tolerence mode with all the bruises in the past. I don't think he gets cut, but is there any chance?

Williams' contract ends this year regardless. Tuten and mangum couldn't have gotten much, but since it's about to be June, it won't matter this year anyway.
Yeah, $4.3 mil is good stuff. Should get all our picks in.

The downside to being a mod is when you want to quote someone and you click edit instead. I tried to piece that one together again.
