I expect us to do what we did last year, threaten players such as Williams with pay cuts, and if they don't accept, buy-bye.

The rest will be gotten from restructuring Moose and/or Stussie.

Riemersma wouldn't be a bad pickup **IF** he clears waivers and we could negociate a cheap one year deal with an option to resign him at a higher deal next year in case this is Walls last year. Only two CB's out there is scary considering Allen is probably retiring. Of course , Davis is still an option there,

WRs as a group are old and injury prone. With the lastest news on Jeffers, I'm beginning to wish we'd have taken one in the draft.

Batch in this offense might be decent, I might take a flyer on him also.

It would be foolish to rework Williams when his cap hit next year would be $0. I'd dump him!

rework would mean paycut. It's worth a shot.

I just like the number 0 in reference to Williams. If he is reworked and we dump him next year anyway, which I would think we will, it will cost us then.
Having Willaims as depth wouldn't break my heart. However, I would be glad to help him pack, too.

Well, we'd have to like whatever backup that's willing to work cheap better, if Williams agrees to take the cut. The cap savings is the same, regardless.

If not, I can drive him to the airport. He's a backup, and he'll have to take backup DE pay if he wants to stay.

No it wouldn't. This isn't a restructure, it's a pay cut. He'll cost nothing next year anyway.
