    we really don't need a super star, or a big back, or any of this. We need a guy who's good for 10-15 carries that isn't a major liability in any phase.

    Those guys don't come in the first 90 picks, and after you get out of the top 3 rounds, you're getting more chancy. Let's just buy a relatively cheap veteran back for a few mil a year so we can go into the draft with a need - any need- actually taken care of instead of being idealistic and pretending the draft will save us.

    That's kinda what Green Bay did last year, except the one that worked wasn't even drafted.

    yeah, logic's all bullshit nothing. We should draft a 340 lb DT and put a 22 on his back.

    I just disagree with the logic. I don't think that Jones is any better than Foster, so why bother?

    I'd rather take the chance on a rookie. :two-cents:

    Jones seems to have cured his early fumblin problems, if DeShuan had done that he'd probably still be here. not that I disagree with your plan though.
