Losman's FA so we wouldn't need to trade anything, and we've supposedly contacted his people about signing here.

Chris Brown, of BuffaloBills.com, reports the Carolina Panthers have contacted the representatives of unrestricted free-agent QB J.P. Losman (Bills) but the talks have only been preliminary, according to a source

Being a fan of the Bills I believe that you can have Losman. He has the tools to be great except for the decision making. If he could work under a experienced QB for a few years he has the chance to be a decent player. His problem is that he is not willing to play backup for a couple years.

Unless he wants to play in the new USFL he does not have a lot of choice on that one. I would not mind signing him cheaply to hold a clip board.

I have no problem bringing him in. The one year he started he had decent numbers ( 1996 ).

Better than Mccown has ever been.......
