But I think theres got to be ALOT of truth to what Canseco is saying. He's already admitted that he used them so that gives him some credibility atleast when it comes to the subject of roids. Plus he would stand alot to lose if he just ran off false accusations naming players because they could easily turn around and sue him to clear their name.

btw, Nomar is supposedly in the book too.

They can sue all they want, but they will never win and the cost and effort plus the publicity that it would generate would far exceed the effort. It's a no-win situation for the accused. Their best position is to deny and heave bombs at Canseco's credibility.

You know, Canseco truly is a scumbag...truth or not. And for him to mention player's names about cheating on their wives.....unbelievable!

I just wish there way someway, which I am sure there is, they could test them all and it would show positive even if the did roids 20 years ago and take away all their records.

It things like this, that I don't watch this game any longer. It's a shame that Barry could break the all time homerun record and have been juiced to do it.

I remember being a kid and it used to be something great to have a player on your team that could hit 30-40 homeruns.

Thats true but Im not going to take the word of a person like Canseco. If he is implicated with hard evidence like some of the others, thats a different story.

Hard evidence? Not going to happen. He's retired. Taking roids now would just be stupid.

McGwire already had the swing and the eyes. So did Sosa, Bonds, and Giambi.

And so did Griffey. At one point, he was going to be the guy that broke all the records. But then he started to break down as the seasons wore on. Like what happens to so many before him.

He also stayed skinny. Are the two related? Maybe he should have gotten Bonds or Giambi's "trainer" and followed their "nutritional" program.

Because clearly that has worked out well for them.

Canseco accuses one guy, cant remember which one, Pudge maybe, of doing roids and he was one of few players in favor of testing a few years ago? WTF?

OK, not saying Canseco has the best reputation and can be trusted with his accusing statements, but not sure why you seem adament in defending these other guys.

A ton of players do roids, plan and simple, sure we may not know which ones do and don't. All we have to go on really are observations from how they looked, performed and possible some medical conditions. I know they would have a hard time testing retired players, even if there is a test out there that could prove they did roids at some time, but I sure hope they start testing now.

I really don't know how long roids can show up in a persons system, but either way the game is tarnished no matter what names come up.

That's the sad part to all of this.
