Maybe so, but it's fun getting Sly's panties all bunched up! You know how he is, he has to pick that special dookie each year to blow. It was gonna be Zoubek, but sly had to change that midstream after he had several suck ass games in a row.

Scheyer shut down Raivio last night. The whole UNC team has yet to shut down anybody.

No, Actually its because they are in the MWC, not exactly the ACC, Big Ten, etc. and none of their 11-1 is from their conference. The only ranked team on their schedule was dook which they lost that game, errr so......! They have played 2 or 3 good teams just like dook has so please forgive me if I don't pull their chain like you are doing with Scheyer.

Maybe you are the one that needs to pay more attention instead of looking as just the surface of things. Of course I guess you believe everything you see/hear on TV as well.

 

He seemed to pass up some shots during the Kent State game. Does he have the green light or is he trying to fit in to much. I missed the Gonzaga game.

 

Scheyer is the only freshman Duke has that looks like he has a clue on the floor. The rest of them seem to be overrated at this point in a very young season. I don't think any of them will be doing the one and done thing though judging on the season so far...

 

yeah I remember sly splooging in his pants when dook signed Thomas and Henderson and so far neither are as good as any of UNC's freshmen from this season or even last season.

I will say that Scheyer's defense on Ravio was impressive.

I'd say 18 points in one half vs. 65 is "shutting someone down". But that's just me.

 

Air Force is ranked in the top 20. Gonzaga will be ranked again from playing in the WCC and they beat UNC, Marquette is a pretty good team (lone loss), Indiana is decent, and Georgetown is creeping back up the receiving votes category. Holy Cross should win their conference this year. Almost all the teams Duke has played is suppose to win their conference or be near the top. Byzdelik has done a good job at Air Force and I think that will turn out to be a quality win. Lance Thomas hasn't gotten the opportunity to play as much as I'd like him to. When he plays a lot of minutes like he did against Air Force he has proven to be pretty good. Henderson looks ok. He's gotten a lot better as the season's gone on. None I would say are better than UNC's guys but they weren't suppose to be. McClure and Scheyer are both great defenders and McRoberts has held his own down low.
There's a lot of good freshmen in the conference. Ish Smith from Wake is quietly leading the conference in assists, but he won't get any due since he plays for Wake. I wouldn't be surprised to see Wright (ROY), Ellington, and Lawson all make the team. Coach K has only had one ACC Freshman of the year and that was Chris Duhon.
