This kid has to be in the lead for rook of the year in the ACC so far. Does everything well and just has the will to win.

And McClure has been a very pleasant surprise this year as well.

If this game was the coming out party for Paulus then I'm not so ready to concede the ACC to UNC this year.

Best Defense against best Offense is going to be fun to watch.

Subjective; too bad he's not that good, the ACC is stacked with VERY talented rookies this year, maybe, maybe, all rookie second team, maybe.

You think he'll start hangin' with Richard Jefferson?:bj:

He's at worst the third best rook in the conference right now behind Wright and Crittendon.

He could definately swing back and forth between first and 2nd team all year. Dook's schedule has been probably the weakest I have seen in a long time to start the season, so it will be interesting to see how all of these kids from all the teams do against the ACC night in and night out.

I don't think he is anywhere close to rookie of the year though.

True dat; he's no J.J., but he may be a Chris Collins.

There are some players doing as much if not more than he is with less minutes. But still way too much basketball left to play, we make it about half way through the ACC schedule then we can tell a little more what the rookies are made of.

Guess that is why Ken Pom and CollegeRPI has them at #2 SOS? You idiot.

Allright, when they lose more games since K's back surgery, we've documented Sly's excuse.

If you compare the teams based on offensive and defensive efficiency

UNC is 2nd in offense and 32nd in defense while Duke is 28th in offense and 2nd in Defense.

Anything can happen but I like Duke's chances. Especially considering they have already beaten teams ranked 1st, 8th, and 9th in terms of offensive efficiency.

Not sure how he does his rankings, but if it's based on all the top tier teams playing cupcakes at the start of the season (UNC) included with a few ranked teams and then non of the rest do, then so be it. Dook hasn't played that many tough teams as UNC hasn't, thats just the way it is, but hey if (Columbia, Georgia Southern, NC Greensboro, Air Force, Davidson, Holy Cross, George Mason, Kent State) get you the #2 SOS then maybe you need to rethink your source no matter who they are.

Just saying that overall dook hasn't played tought competition night in and night out to really know how well your new nutt Scheyer is gonna be.

I mean you had nothing but praises for Zoubek after 3 games, but how is that working out? Looks like he is on the decline now, sorta like Shav did in his career with dook. The poor kid can't even stay in the main rotation for your dook team that isn't deep this year.
