If anyone has started a thread on this, bump it. I don't feel like looking for it.

The movie raises some good arguments about HMO's etc, but I find it hard to believe that a bunch of people held hostage bya man in an emergency room would ultimately be satisfied to stay with him and even help him out. If I had been the guy with the pregnant wife, I would have beat John Q to a pulp at the first opportunity.

Yeah it had some major holes in it. But I just watched this movie for the first time and cried I don't know how many times though it.

The last couple of shots of the movie. DAMN DAMN DAMN I cried like a baby.

And it doesn't hurt that Denzel is incredibility sexy either!

I need to see this since I worked in a hospital and seen how crazy it can get. Is it good though?

Gutter I thought it was a great movie. It might have been pms or something but it really tore at my heart strings.

It pointed out the greed in the medical and insurance world, and the love a man has for his child.

Good movie. I recommend watching it.

Watched it for the first time the other day. Good movie.

After watching 'The Graduate' I started wondering has there been any movies made recently that makes a statement. John Q makes you start to think about this issue a lot.
