    big deal folks. We got a 49er that is becoming one of the hottest pitching prospects in all of minor league baseball, if he is not #1 by some already.

    Went and watched Joey Hammond play at Knights Castle a couple times this week. He is with the Ottawa Lynx now -- AAA Orioles. Had a single and double in the final game. He played in every inning of every game in all three of his 49er years at shortstop and is a great guy. Hopefully a September call-up candidate.

    grad, you are correct. Joey is an A1 person. I got to catch up with him and have a few frostys at this year's alumni game, and he is definately one of the good guys. not a bit cocky. He has cooled of lately. 3 weeks ago he was hitting 320, now he is around 270.

    Seriously, he has admitting to missing you, and the board is boring as hell now that you are gone. He even admitted to starting the major fighting with the "UNc-charlotte idiots" thread on the Memphis main board.
