John Maine now has 108 k's/18 BB's in 74 innings, this is filthy. That is 1.5 strikeouts per inning! oh yeah, and 47 hits and 1.53 ERA is sick and is unheard of too. He is, I would logically assume the starter in the SAL all star game this week. I can honestly say these are the best numbers I have ever seen from a minor league pitcher, barring injury, this guy has MLB Hall of Fame stuff.

Stanford is killing it himself in AAA (7-1 2.68 era) and I fully expect him in Cleveland after the all star break or Sept. call up.

49er's in the Minors at the minor league all star break:

The 18 walks are even more impressive, I think. Those look like Pedro or Clemens minor league stats.

I have never seen numbers like this in my life from any pitcher. Oddly enough, Maine was bad his junior year, He was like 7-6 with a 5.00 era. If he keeps it up, he may be a Sept call up himself.

something I forgot to mention, Jason Stanford should be a lock in Cleveland this year because Eric Wedge, the Indians manager, played at Wichita with 49er coach Hibbs. :D

Metro, how about posting a few of your stats... curious to see where you played, how you did, etc.
