I watched it and did not see what you saw, I guess. I saw a guy that did not have his heart in it, had an attitude about it and should have quit but stuck around to get the check.

Richardson didn't want to pay for a coach during the lock out. He was too concerned about the investors he had to answer to, he admitted it. Richardson totally spear headed the lock out, it was no coincidence Fox's contract ended the year before the lock out. Richardson dumped pay roll, had the 2nd youngest team in the league, and we had the QB with the smallest hands in the NFL. It was all by design, Fox did not have a front office behind him with winning as a priority and the product on the field represented that. Fox said the writing was on the wall after the 2008 season.

So what has Hurney or Richardson accomplished without John Fox?

John Fox is a damn good coach, and I don't think he mailed it in.

It's pretty well known that he got screwed at the end, but he also had a lot of bad coaches under him in his final years, and that was his undoing.

He has JDR right now. He has some tremendous players on offense and defense, and an insane home field advantage, on of the best in the game with that altitude.

He has Manning, and no matter who you are, you're going to look outstanding with Manning in the game. Manning took one of the worst HC's in the entire history of the league, that dipshit OC with the Ravens, I can't remember his name...to a Superbowl.

    Fox is not a dipshit.

Expect Fox to look all world for the next several years with Manning.

But here's the thing: Fox is not all world. He's a good coach. He's not an amazing one. That's just my opinion.

I don't believe he put forth full effort in 2010. I believe he was bitter about his situation (understandably), and used that as an excuse to mail-in a season to collect paychecks.

better front office and better players is kind of the point... Fox wanted better players & management when he was here, he didn't get it... it didn't work out

    now it's kinda working out...

The Broncos are 3-1 against the NFC South, they beat the Bucs by 8, Panthers by 22, and the Saints by 20... they lost to Falcons by 6 in Week 2

The Broncos played the toughest schedule in the league the first part of the season

Fox-lovers conveniently forget that the Broncos were 1-4 last season before Tebow took over, and that the defense barely ranked above Carolina's. Peyton Manning changed that team, not Fox.

What team does Tebow start for again?

Tebow for Peyton is not the only change they made, maybe you should look at the roster moves since the team that went 4-12... Fox & Elway changed the whole make up of the Broncos.

Tebow wasn't shit then, ain't shit now and never will be shit, but he was still a better option at QB than Moore or Clausen

2011 Broncos without Tebow starting: 1-4
2011 Broncos with Tebow starting: 7-4

And there were barely any changes to the roster. QB, TE, and C are new, along with a couple of guys on defense. Fox gets no credit from me for their success. Tebow saved him in 2011 and Peyton can win with any coach.
