Clayton stated on ESPN radio to look for the possibility of a Peppers trade before the deadline 10/20

I assume it would be AFC, not in our schedule preferably.

at this point they need room for his prorated salary. There might be a player in trade just for that reason - getting rid of $3 mil or so to clear some. But some teams should have room.

Any team with the cap room and willing to pay the compensation for a trade can afford; yes they must have the cap room, what do you mean how does that work it works like any other trade there's no signing bonus so someone takes on teh full amount of his base salary (all OMG 1 million per game of it)

As for destinations, Green Bay meets the criteria and any pick they give us looks like it might be somewhat high, San Diego might move Merriman so maybe there's a 3-way in there somewhere, Miami could be a surprise entry considering the age of their OLBs, I don't think the jets have the room cap wise and might still be committed to Gholston (who really sucks btw). Kansas City might also be for it, but we'd have to ship them peppers through NE somehow.

I'd rather it be all picks, rather than some crappy scrubs from another team and picks.
