Joey Hammond in bigs?

    Joey hammond is having a very solid season in AAA. At this point it looks like he may be the second Niner to reach the big leagues this year. Stanford appears a lock in Cleveland, and Hammond is making it tough on the organization to ignore him with defense and a .287 BA (in addition to hitting .333 in AA). Both were stars on the Charlotte team from 98 that went to the NCAA's.

    What's going on with Bo Robinson? I know he is a better ball player than what his stats show.

    cpa, it is hard to say. I had some drinks with Bo in February and he seemed upbeat and glad to be with the Yanks. He had two monster years in the minors (Seatle's minor league POY) but last year and this year has struggled. I am hoping he bounces back soon, he is almost out of chances for a 27 year old.
