    Not me. Sorry.

I have watch it a few times. Not saying what he says isn't helpful, so are some of the things Dr. Phil says. But I can see where strict theologians have an issue with him.

Unlike Osteen, Dr. Phil does not use the bible to justify his theories on self-help.

Dr. Phil does not preach from a christian pulpit.

What's wrong with presenting Biblical principles using scriptural references that help one lead a better more fruitful life?

Check out his book at the public library, if you don't want to spend the $14.95 for it..God may use it to change your opinion and your heart.

Can a Public Library carry a religous book? We have his book already. Not saying what he is saying is bad. Just that it is what it is. Needless to say I am leary of TV evangelical preachers.

And that is my point. What he preaches is more or less what a lot of non-religious self-help book espouse. Tying it into the bible does not make any more right. That being said he is more watchable than all of the other preachers on TV and I think what he says is generally good.

Really? That's great! Where did you read or hear this? From one of his broadcasts, or from the website?

From the website..they hold Wednesday night Bible studies, and special discipleship classes for new christians.

No, she's copying and pasting instead of using the quote feature.

Exactly. In one interview he revealed that he had no idea his book would even sell..but he now lives on its royalties, and has deferred his church salary.

"Do you know if they take a love offering during their services? " posted by KS, I think.

Well sure..I guess they do ask their members to tithe.
