Give it 5 years - maybe 10 - and Snyder just might work his way around to you. Patience.

As soon as I heard the news I thought that he doesn't need the money. I think that the only reason Gibbs would come back to coach the Redskins is for part ownership in the team. I bet Snyder promised him a decent sized minority ownership in the franchise if he coaches again. That's just my guess.

How long before Tony Stewart gets a big ole Redskin helmet on his hood? Or if Arthur Blank would even allow his Home Depot car altered in such a way?

And I wonder what kind of relationship Gibbs will have with Arthur Blank now? Giving Home Depot sponcership to the HC of another football team, and ending joint ownership of the Falcons, that's kinda hairy.

And btw, I hate that logo they have now, think Gibbs will change it again?

Dale Jarret used to have a Redskins helmet when he drove for Gibbs.

I've been a Panther fan so long now there is no way I can go back to being a Skins fan again - although with Gibbs back on board it will be easier to make them my old second favorite again.

It was easy to even hate the Skins the last few years between Snyder and hen Spurrier.

I would imagine Gibbs is doing it for the challenge again. Not that he has anything to prove but he's already done the NASCAR thing and won two championships - and he can still be the car owner and just turn over the operations to somebody else.

I may not be a Skins fan anymore - but I never lost that good ol hatred of the Cowboys. :D

And I am enjoying watching all these Gibbs/Redskins Superbowl highlights on ESPN classic.

I grew up pulling for Gibb's Redskins. They were my team for many years. I will have to start pulling for them again now that he is back, just not when they play us. The Panthers are my first team. I have always considered the Steelers my second team but I may have to give that back to the skins now that Gibbs is back. It will be so cool to see him on the sidelines again, big glasses and all.

You know I don't have a second team. I never really followed FB till the Panthers arrived. I suppose I may have to choose a team. Who should it be? I'm guessing should be an AFC team. Bengals maybe?
