It never ceases to amaze me how the faux Tarheel fans like this fat fuck obsess over Duke. How long has this guy been out of college? Let it go tubby.

5th best PPS and 7th best AFG% on the team.

He is productive when he plays.

I don't know whether Redick will be a bad, average or good player in the NBA. Since the Magic won't play him we may never find out. Last article I read concerning this Van Gundy didn't want to play him because he wasn't as good defensively as the other guys playing his spot, but he also didn't want to trade him just in case Redick became a star somewhere else and made him and the Magic look like morons for dealing him. No win situation for Redick until his contract runs out since he has no leverage.

I can see him being an instant offense type of guy off the bench, in short spurts. He needs to get his attitude adjusted, though.

Defensively, he's probably too much a liability at the NBA level to warrant long blocks of playing time.

Kids deserve a chance to play, he's within his right. He's served his time and as a lottery pick he deserves a chance either in Orlando or elsewhere. There are plenty of sorry ass defenders in the NBA (hello Wally Scerbiak, how's that burn from Paul Pierce treating you?)
