JJ Redick= the Peyton Manning of college hoops

Shelden Williams played great Mcroberts was not bad but no one else showed up. Every time Redick got the ball there were two or three guys in his face. Someone should have been open and ready to knock down a shot. Instead they all stood around and watched Redick try to dribble through a double team and then score over a pair of shot blocking big men.

 

everybody talks about how great mcroberts is.....give me a break. the dude could win a dunk contest, i'll give him that, but a great player? please.

one of the best ball handlers at 6'10" that ive seen before... paulus played a good defensive game and nelson gave us that small and i mean SMALL spurt there when we went and took the lead but after that it was like we stopped and went back to palying the way that we had the previous 30 minutes... still feel srry for williams, redick, dockery, and melchionni.. they gave us some good 4 yrs but when u play at schools like duke and unc and places like that.. its always a let down when u dont go all the way.. that just speaks volumes of the schools and the programs.

 

Paulus was horrible, dook was better when Dockery was playing point.

McBob had a few good dunks but wiped them all out with some bone headed plays the last few minutes of the game.

 

yeah i agree paulus played horrible but i was just saying that he played good on defense with some steals but on offense it was like he hit that one 3 early in the game and thought that he done his one good deed for the day

 

I love UNC. I hate Duke. Let that be known. But that comment about Redick is the biggest "Crop of Crap" I have ever heard! He has carried Duke. Whe he FINALLY had a bad game, no one but Williams picked it up.
Redick is Grant Hill without the flash or injuries.
If Larry Bird were a point guard he would be J.J. Redick.
Oh, and where have the Florida QB's been in the NFL? Florida State too for that manner. They combined with Larry Holmes couldn't carry Manning's Jock Strap.

 

Yeah Whiner Cunt, it was all Redick's fault Duke lost. Double and triple teamed the whole game. The rest of the team was to blame except Williams, everybody played like shit and took terrible shots.

Oh - one other thing. Dawkins never won a national championship either - you gonna take him off the list too? You can't take them off the list just because they didn't win a NC. There's plenty of UNC players that were great players that never won a title.

Fixed. Dockery lost all his confidence I think. He was nonexistant the last third of the season.

 

Yeah, poor NPOY was triple teamed and only shot 3 for 18. Its not his fault at all.

So you're telling me that the double and triple teaming had no effect on his shots? I think their plan was to shut down Redick, which they did. I'm not sure sure why you're calling me stupid. I do blame Coach K, for not having the rest of the team more prepared to take up the slack for Redick. At least more so than I blame Redick.

Anyway, I didn't come in here talking shit when Carolina lost, I made 1 comment, so get off MY Azz. Y'all had a great season and so did Duke. I hate neither UNC or Duke are in it, because now I have no reason to pull for or against anybody other then the sake of my brackets. Have a good weekend.
