yeah but Hans is a full year older than his class, not 6 months....I had plenty of friends who turned 18 before they graduated HS in say nov/dec....that makes sense...they would have turned 19 in their first semester freshman year...he turned 20 his first semester...im guessing he was like the kid wossa mentioned...

I was making the point that it was not the same as someone with a "late" or "early" birthday entering school.....that is a matter of months...it is obvious he was held back or as i suspect did a "re-class"......

He was held back a year at kindergarten by his parents. Their choice. Not knowing and trying to badmouth him only makes you sound ignorant.

Seems strange to hold him back since he would have already been older than most kids in his class... There are advantages too, like driving yourself to school in ninth grade.

    Yep.

I had a friend who was somewhat like that but his bday was in July so he turned 16 as a sophmore and was 18 when he graduated....he still would not have turned 20 until the summer after his Freshman year of college.
