I occassionally listen for a few, but apparently someone was on there today and had alot to say about the Panthers.

I think some of it was actually good.

Anybody know who Rome was talking to about our team?

Nope, can't stand Rome. He's on my top five list of people I'd like to leave unconsious in a dark alley. I used to like his straight forward approach, until he started being an ass for ratings.
Being an ass is so much better when it is 100% pure.

How does someone who knows so little about sports get a tv and radio show?

  4. Sleeping with Merv Griffin?

I couldn't stand Rome after he kept calling Jim Everett, "Chrissie". Did it to him on his show, and when Everett pushes his chair over, I wish he'd have taken a few teeth out too. Agreed with McFly on Rome.

Yeah, I knew these responses were coming. I don't listen to him either, not much at least, but someone told be there was a guy doing an analysis of our draft and mini-camp yesterday, and I wonder who it was.

Nah it was Rome back when he was on ESPN2. ESPN2 had just started. Rome was gone like two days after that happened. He had marketed himself as this badass guy and I guess they let him go after he ran like a little girl from Everett.

I've got that interview on an 800K mpeg file. Go to KaZaA and use keyword "ESPN" and look for "fight during interview". It's pretty wild.

It was staged. I listen to Rome now and then. If I'm in the car when he's on. I don't go for all his clones, but he does great interviews. I thinks he's getting better, or I've grown to tolerate him.
