    Do you tell people thankyou when they do something for you? like when they hold the door open? should it just be a given? You should live in a gracious attitude.

    I pray all the time, not just when i eat.

    i don't understand? what do you mean a scene?
    When you pray, you should only be speaking to the Lord, if you are praying to impress others, then your reward is just that.

    also try doing something for someone and not taking any recognition. that is what it means to be truly humble.
