    I have no problem with that at all... I mean he died on the cross as a sacrifice, and being on the cross caused the clot. If that's actually what killed him, but the cause of death is really irrelevant in the grand scope. The fact that he was sacrificed for our sins is the key.

    How much blood would one lose from being scourged and then crucified? Normally you were not scourged before you were crucified.
