If I was a fan of another NFL team, I would check TBR everyday because I wouldn't be able to get enough of the arguments. The dry sarcasm by all parties is pretty funny if you read the posts without taking one side or the other. Its like the Eagles vs. TO all over again.

Honestly, I have fun here. I do think that a TBR w/o a certain member would be a better place, and I think that's been obvious to many here for a while....but that's not gonna happen. So I am gonna enjoy it in the meantime.

But seriously, I think we would want the guy starting who's better all-around (Carstens), rather than the guy who's more of a specialist (Lewis). Saying that Damian is horrible against the run might be a bit of an overstatement, but I would rather have the more gap-disciplined Carstens playing on 1st and 2nd down. That way, we could use Lewis the way we should, along with Moorehead, and keep Jordan fresh. We didn't have an effective guy to sub in for Carstens last year, and the lack of started to show it's effect down the stretch.

It could happen. I'm looking to make sure it doesn't, rather than that it does. The "combat" shit has to go, though. Everyone argues.
Sure. I do think in some situations, having Lewis blow a gap in a base D would be beneficial, however, and he's more mobile than Carstens is. And yeah, Lewis not being a great every down player in theory doesn't preclude him from being able to do so.

I think Moorehead and Carstens can each be somewhat effective individually, but obviously Moorehead's a guy who had a lot more promise and didn't really show it, unfortunately. That was my favorite pick of that year, because it had potential rather than a low ceiling - but he did have minor strength issues and past that the whole "spider bite" thing was more telling than I wanted it to be (that said, the 2003 draft overall has been kinda ass for us).
