This is mainly for Eric cause you said you wish you had the opportunity to speak to a Jehovah witness when they come to your door. Well, saturday 2 came to mine. My screen door, i keep locked, so i just talked to them through the glass. For one thing, i can't stand anyONE i don't know coming up to my door. But i was going to be nice cause i have this plaque on my door saying Joshua 24:15 and i wanted to represent, u know.
Well, they were in the neighborhood to discuss the changes of the earth. my first thought was "Damn, Global Warming! Al Gore sent these womins here!" but no,the one started to pull out their AWAKE pamphlet and i asked her what organization are you with? "Jehovah Witness". I said, "well, i'm baptist" and i don't know why i said that, cause baptist make me mad but it just came out.
I told the lady i was on my way out and didn't have time (which was true) that's when she saw the plaque of Joshua 24:15 and pointed to the word Lord and she asked me this question: Do you think that name is a personal name or one of entitlement? I don't know what she was getting at but i told her, "personal". then she goes on how she's from England and over there they have Lords and Lordships and they are the rulers and have power and yada yada yada. i don't know what she was getting at.
Then she asks, "can you think of any other names we call the Lord?" I'm like yeah, there's lots but she wants me to name one so i tell her "I Am". She was like, "yeah! well, ur reffering to blah, blah, blah" <--i stopped listening cause i was trying to think of other names but my mind was going blank cause i was trying to shut her up so i could get out of there but she just kept going on and on and talking about the King James bible and on and on about something w-h-w-h and it meaning jehovah. and if she had her bible she could point to it in the bible but she left it in her car, did i have one? i was like yes. she wanted to come in and me get that bible, i was like, "no,no no, i know what you're doing and i told you i am on my way out" she was very polite and asked if she could come back later and i just laughed and said "no, sorry".

The whole time i was thinking about Eric and how he would of loved this opportunity and how i messed it up.

I don't even know what JWitnesses believe in and what they don't believe in. anybody know?

Well they don't believe in the Trinity...

If you want to get rid of the POLITELY, tell them your a Christian and your concerned about THEIR salvation, you'd be glad to take their names and pray for them...they will NEVER come back.
However when I've done that, then I do pray for them.

Oh and by the way, got that idea from an EX JW and obviously the prayer worked.
