There were a few years there, I was a fan but paid very little attention to anything about the Panthers prior to opening day. Then one game, I said who the hell is Jeffers? At first I thought itwas Ed Mccaffrey, but said no, his name is Jeffers, not Mccaffrey.

Anyway, long story short, I thought that one year, Patrick Jeffers was the most exciting receiver to watch. Still goes down as my favorite WR...

    Does not sound good... :(

Well, when we let Hayes leave, I thought we would do someyhing to replace him. Now I'm wishing we would have kept Hayes.

btw, Darney Scott signed with the Jags. Wasn't sure if anyone noticed.

I guess the few practices we've had, our corners have looked pretty well against a thin WR set, or our WR's have looked pretty good against a poor secondary. Either way, we'll all know more after Washington, eh, well maybe not.

I'm like the hope springs eternal poster boy concerning Jeffers. I think that he would have been perfect in this offense. I cannot quite let go of him. He was beautiful when he played but like the candle that burns from both ends, it don't last long but oh what a beautiful sight. Please surprise us all Pat and beat the odds.
