granted another year of NCAA eligibility and will return to Oklahoma next season. OU has 10 returning starters on offense. That should be pretty scary for the likes of Texas, etc.

Why would he want to do that? Go ahead and make some money already.

Because he knows he will not go as high as he hoped in the draft. Especially with Ben coming out early.

He's going to get hurt and not make anything. No matter where you get drafted you are at the very worst going to be making many hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. He's probably getting payed pretty well at OU anyway.

I read or heard on TV he has no shot at NFL success. I found it hard to believe when I heard that.

Yeah, but you also think Rivers has no shot at NFL success, so there goes what little credibility you had down the drain.

Neither White nor Rivers really carry a ton of NFL promise. They're both decent players but there's so many guys ahead of them.

Someone will probably take a chance on Rivers 1st day, but I don't expect much from him. His mechanics are horrible, and his completion percentage is skewed because of all the screens and dump-offs. He's been productive at NCSU, but that doesn't mean he'll be productive in the NFL. Schaub, Navarre, Rivers, etc. are all seemingly interchangeable at this point, which speaks volumes about the fact that he was simply unable to differentiate himself from the rest of the pack. After Manning, Roethlisberger, and Losman, there's nothing to really get excited about.
