Watching some of the WS game the other week, I was impressed with Gesser. He's mobile, accurate, has a quick release, and makes quick decisions in the pocket. His arm strength may be a question, but unlike Dorsey, he's played under some pressure and doesn't hold the ball.

Nobody is talking about this kid, he's had some injuries earlier in his career, and he doesn't have Palmer's measurables. But he has lead WSU to a Rose Bowl. In a deep QB year, he could be someone that is overlooked that we grab in round 3, pairing him with a vet.

He's got a lot of what like about a guy like Bulger, with some athletic ability as well.

To me if you like Gesser - you should like Grossman. They have similar size limitations but Grossman has a better arm and better overall accuracy. Grossman is a more talented QB than Gesser although I do like Gessers leadership qualities a bit more. Gesser is very outgoing and likeble kid. He would have the edge there, but they are quite similar as prospects overall.

I still think Chris Simms is worth the risk after round 1. He has good tools and could lead a ball control type offense well IMO.

I don't always like Grossman's decision making, so I'd rate Gesser better their.

that's my only non-size beef with Rex as well - he plays in a pretty simple system but doesn't really take good choices.

Sure. Can't disagree although I do think Rex felt he needed to do too much at times this year. He tries to throw those bulls-eye passes into tight coverage way to much. Coaching can elevate that though. Oh, and sometimes the guy completes some of dose passes too. :D

Not noc'n Gesser though. I kinda like the guy too.
