All empirical evidence suggests we would have been better than 1-9 versus the good ones. And all empirical evidence suggests that it wouldn't have mattered one bit because we beat similar teams and were ignored.

I don't begrudge UAB's seeding at all. I felt like they deserved about a 7. I do think MSU's was BS as was ours. You however, are trying to make a fight where there is none because it suits your purpose.

Try to follow this carefully - if you played the same schedule as MSU, you would not have gone 5-5 in those games. You might have won and extra game, but you still would have had a losing record.

And your inconsistency would have bit you in the ass on the road in the Big 10 (please see Carolina, East; Mississippi, Southern; and Christian, Texas).

 

Using your reasoning, every team that beat the Tarholes deserved a better seed than them. Please go plague the boards of Clemson and UVa too. You took their NCAA berth. Since they beat you, they were obviously as good as the Holes.

I said similar records. Neither of those teams had similar records AND Carolina split with both one of them. Now, if say, Tech had been a 6 seed, I would not have been arguing that we should have gotten a higher seed than them.
