I said nothing of the sort. One of my biggest problems with you is that you put words in people's mouths to serve your arguments.

When did I say Memphis? Again, another example. I said Michigan State, a team that was 1-8 against the RPI top 50 and drew a better seed than we did. We had the best road record of the non-protected seeds, against a good road schedule. Not many teams in the country could compare to what we did on the road, and unlike the few who could, it was ignored come seeding time.

But goa head - we suck, you know all, blah blah blah. Same tired shit, different day.

have you not complained about the whole name thing in the G-boro paper? How about the Observer? Have you ever said that UNC is afraid to play you?

Actually, you said MSU - I was thinking Memphis (yes, I know that they changed their name) cause they are in CUSA. My bust.

So now that we are talking about Michigan St., how many of their wins came against teams ranked below 106 in RPI? If UNCC had played their schedule they would not have been in the NIT, much less the NCAA.

We have been down this road before.....

    Still waiting.....

More classic vpkozel cluelessness. I see that you totally ignored HH’s post.

All but one of Mich St's wins came against teams that were 50+ in the RPI.

They beat the same number of 100+ teams as us, 13. They also lost to two team 100+ teams, which is supposed to carry a penalty. But since they're Michigan St, it didn't.

What? This quote takes the cake.

We played the same number of top 50 games as Michigan State. We went 5-5 while they went 1-9, and four of our top 50 wins came on the road.

Please, give up now and avoid further embarrassment.

Of course I have because I know what the AP stylebook is and they are not following it. It's unprofessional. As for UNC - show me some evidence to the contrary. The quote from the last time we played was "never again" and was uttered by your head coach. And no, I have better things to do then try to dig up a 5 year old news story that may or may not still be archived on the internet.

There's a first time for everything, huh?

Pardon me for my wild misinterpretation :sarcastic of your attitude:

I guess you didn't inhale and you didnt have sexual relations with that woman, you just smoked the joint and placed your penis in her mouth. Absolutely, positively completely different!

I have no idea how we would have done against MSU's schedule because there was almost no overlap. But I do know that we played damn well on the road against similar teams. Well enough that your assertion comes off as the crapola that it is. I also find it perverse that a fan of a team that plays very few true road games is trying to lecture US about our schedule. Preposterous.

We could have been seeded higher and in my opinion should have been a 7 or 8. Played a tough OOC road schedule and beat a lot of them on the road.

However, the bracket could not have been any better for us. We laid an egg against a TT team that in my humble opinion, was not as good as us. Yes, talk is cheap, coulda, shoulda woulda, whatever we lost. If we win that game, we could have played a very beatable St. Joe's team (I said beatable, not bad).

In the end, we lost at least three games (RI, St. Louis, UAB (reg season)) because of poor FT shooting. If we go 14-2 in conference, the seed would take of itself. I know, coulda, shoulda, woulda again.

Sorry, I'm on a conference call and bored.

It will be interesting to watch him spin this. I'm sure he'll find a way to convince himself he has successfully done so, but it's ridiculous to even try. MSU's placement proved once and for all how political the process is. As if we didn't know already from teams like Washington & New Mexico.

Of course you miss the point. You are an idiot - that's what you do. If UNCC had switched schedules - not just OOC schedules - you would not have had a winning record, IMO.

But let's just talk about those games in the top 50. Yes, you both played 10 games against these teams and y'all won 4 more than they did, but that doesn't really tell the whole story. On average the teams that MSU played had an RPI rank of 17.8 (including the top 2) while y'all's was 24.6. even MORE representative is that the median for MSU was 14, while y'all's was 25.

That is the kind of thing that the NCAA looks at. And why they got a 7 seed. Of course the fact that y'all did not win a game makes it pretty silly for you to complain about how you got hosed.

But, stick with what you know I guess....

I think it is hilarious how y'all always have to bring in other teams as examples as to why you failed. You got a tough seed - although not overly so and UAB certainly had a better argument that they deserved a higher seed than you - and all y'all can do is say LOOK AT THEM!!! THEY GOT A BREAK!! IT'S NOT FAIR!!!

And you wonder why people think you are a bunch of whiny ass crybabies.

Well he tried. He failed miserably and embarassed himself, but hey, running uphill in the mud works that way for a retard.
