    Thoughts of Lebron James now?

I wondered last year how much hype he was and if he would be able to elevate his game. Well he has blown away his stats from last year. Can he still continue to improve that much? I haven't been able to see him play this year other than highlights, so wondered if he is just getting a lot of call because of him being marketed so much or not.

He has dramatically improved in all major categories.

youngest player to get to 2,000 points...goes up for a dunk and hits his head on the rim....dude is good and dude is sick...he's better than Jordan at this point in time. The Bulls didn't soley depend on Jordan just in his second year.

He is playing highlight reel basketball every game.

ESPN is leading off Sportscenter with him the way they used to do Jordan.

Makes Larry Brown look like a real dumbass for letting him ride the bench through most of the Olympics while they were getting their asses handed to them.

Could be, but he learned a lot from that, and may have started a fire to show them all.

he's really good. last year he didn't have much of a jump shot and this year he's hitting from everywhere. it's not the prettiest stroke you've ever seen, but it goes in.

i'm surprised that you can actually see a real improvement over where he came in. makes me think he's still getting better at a good clip. in 3 years... wow.

He has a three year head start on Jordan. When Jordan was 19 he was a sophomore in college, but James will be better than Jordan. He and Duncan are just about the only things I like about the NBA

He is going to be one of the best ever there is little doubt

but until he can win three titles in a row and retire after playing 12 years then come back and win three more titles in a row like he never missed a beat and make the first team defensive team every year while also crushing the league in scoring -- until he can do just half of that he won't be better than Jordan.

You know, I didn't fully buy into the hype at first, but I wouldn't put what you said outside the realm of possibility. It'd be tough, but the guy has all the tools. He just needs to learn to be that ultimate competitor and have the focus like Jordan... he seems to already have that killer instinct where he breaks his opponents hearts every time they seem like they are going to have a chance.

    Will?

    How about could?

There are a lot of things he needs to do first before we say that he will be better than Jordan.
