The Raiders fit that bill nicely, but if we walk into the Bank 1-6 that would not bode well for us. The key for any hope at making a decent run to the finish is to handle LT this Sunday and force Drew Brees to beat us all alone. Plus San Diego D is not what it once was. The Bolts are no patsy, but they are beatable by our squad...

As far as I am concerned the defense or lack ther of is reason number 1 why we have lost. Then again when you are third or so from the bottom in scoring, due in part to losing so many weapons due to injury (Smith, Foster, Davis) or being absent (Moose) can't help.

We better not take the Bolts lightly. Or any team at this point. If we don't bring an A effort this week, then there's nothing to do.

Beatable, yes. But we must win up front, shut down the run and get to Brees. Brees has played well, and they've done a better job of protecting him. Give a QB time to throw and a back like LT, and suddenly he looks like he can play.

Its time to impose our will on someone.

it's more like Jake is feeling the pressure of no running game and pass rushers breathing down his neck

That would have been the "other stuff" in my post. Which has been discussed so much I might say "moon". No doubt, I'm just saying he's probably putting a lot of pressure on himself.

Isn't at least a small part of Moose's "absence" due to keeping more guys back to protect Jake? As our best blocking WR, isn't that limiting his "availability" to be a true receiver?

I dunno how absent Muhammad's been, or where that's coming from. Champ Bailey? Sure. Anybody that wants to criticize him for not beating Bailey consistently, go right ahead. He caught 7 and 6 in the games on either side of that. I see a problem with last week's yards per catch (8.0) but do keep in mind only Colbert had over 10 per catch (and had two catches).

Everyone's placed their own blame, and the problem is, everyone on this team has earned these losses. The only guys who really haven't done much wrong are the specialists - and honestly, Kasay hasn't seen the field enough to be a positive.

The reason why the Panthers are 1-4........

One word- Injuries. Smith, Davis, Jenkins, Foster, Rucker = Season over. :xyzthumbs
No running game- Delhome was overrated, Muhammed is MIA, the o-line is in the tank; and the Cowboys still have a better record. :laugh1: By one game. Suddenly I am not as perky as opening day. Count the Panthers and the Cowboys out of the Playoffs. As for me I have the Chicago Bulls season to look forward to. Oh boy:huh:

Do people just not think when they talk? How is the team's leading receiver MIA?
