Might go with a college coach, yeah, or they might go for Denny Green if he's out there. I think they'll interview him, because I doubt Marvin Lewis will get many interviews. Saban would be a good fit.

Holmgren would be interesting there too, I guess. If Holmgren could get both Rhodes and Mornhiweg, it'd be interesting, but none of the three have impressed lately anyway.

Brunell'll be cut by whoever comes in. Taylor's a FA. All they have after that are raw picks and overpriced contracts, even after the Texans hooked them up.

Not surprising that he got let go, but this early suggests that there will be a lot of moves on the quick...college coaches are going fast, and both Dallas and Jax will have made firings.

Hope there's a good QBs coach out there and we can hire him.

Not surprised, but I would be if they hire Stoops.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Bobby Stoops LOVES the college game, I don't expect he'll look at a Pro job until at least near the end of his contract. He's getting Pro pay at the college level and has only been at it three years.

Saban would make sense, but I wouldn't rule out Lewis. Sean Peyton is out of the picture for now. He'll likely be fired in NY.

I just had a bad fuckin' dream!!!!!

My current worry is that Jacksonville will make Del Rio an offer he can’t refuse. How bad would it damage our D-stroyer to lose its maker and captain?

would you bite on Brunell with Carolina? Would be a definite upgrade to what we have now...

I don't think any one makes a play for Del Rio this year being that it's his first year as a coordinator. We can and probably should tag him (and give him a hefty raise) to prevent him from going anywhere.
