He played under Jim Skipper at Las Vegas in the XFL. That's the only thing I can think of. He has a fan. Hooray - and when I was sitting there laughing at that stupid shit I thought to myself: "well at least we don't have to deal with this."
    The last 24 hours...they didn't just happen.

who gives a damn where he coached. we're talking about the xfl. point is he sucks ass and jackson was another one of our better backups and a good ST player. however, i do like the move cutting taylor and picking up heath.

Maybe we can trade Weinke to Pittsbugh for Tommy Mattox.

Well, before the cut we did have 7 linebackers. Now we've got 6, one is a LS.

I'll have to go with what the coaches know about Smart and Hix.

They seem to have done quite well grabbing Foster.

Bingo!!! And the boobie prize goes to Mr. meatpile.

Smart is excellent on Special Teams. In fact, Philly's Special Teams coach said that Smart may be the best gunner in the NFL. He was very high on him, and lobbied hard to keep him. So basically, he is taking the Bates role, and just like Bates, he is not here as a RB.

They carried 7 plus Kyle. Morgan-Fields-Navies, Witherspoon-Towns-Allen and then Jackson, Kyle.
If Smart could give ST depth along with RB depth, that's fine. I'd have just hoped for a little less of a scatback.

I can't give anybody a free pass anymore. Foster's great, Peppers is working out. Good moves have been made, bad moves have been made. If good things begat that much future leeway, we'd be coached by Wayne Fontes - and the Ravens by Buddy Ryan.
