Carolina releases Cordell Taylor and Brad Jackson, claiming RB Rod Smart (yes, that Rod Smart) and CB Rodney Heath.

No word as to whether there were too many Brads on this team and not enough Rods. But seriously - Jackson? You're saying that Allen played better than Jackson with this move. What the holy fuck?

Great, Skip Hicks is out there and we pick up "He Hate Me." Too bad the XFL folded we're beginning to look like we'd fit in there better than the NFL. Are Fox and Hurney in over their heads?

I thought Allen did play better than Jackson.

I'd take Jackson over Allen also and Heath getting cut by the Bengals can't be the best sign.

I'm not sure if I want to cry or start pulling for another team. What the hell are the front office people thinking? First Minor over Towns and now Jackson is gone too? WTF.

"He Hate Me" why the hell do we need him? Somebody please answer these questions and help me feel a little bit better.

Apparently Smart was quite a player for Philly - They're deep, and he was released on account of the depth with Dorsey Levens apparently having a great pre-season.

Don't know nothing about that corner. And don't know why Skip Hicks is lookin' bad.

Did Skipper Head Coach Rod Smart in the XFL?

Know what? I'm gonna try to reserve judgement until Sunday about 4PM. If we win a game, all these moves were good.

I haven't seen dick of the preseason, so what you guys say has been my only info. However, we could do alot better than Rod "Not So" Smart. JEEZ LOUISE!!!
Skip Hicks, Mo Smith...hell, Ennis Haywood looked pretty good in Cowboys camp. I'd take him over a complete asshole anyday!!!

Smart had 12 attempts, 4.0 per carry - but he apparently had a long of 29. So he could have easily pulled up a draw play and slipped one tackle. Otherwise his average sucks ball.

    His receiving stats are interesting.

    4 rec, 56 yards, a score and a long of 31.
