I've lost 8 lbs since 8/19....

    on Ediets.com. Have any of you tried the program? I'm hoping this will be the last time I actually diet and this time will start eating healthy as a lifestyle change.

    Yeah, I've got to start eating better soon. Probably like today. I've now come to the realization that I'm going to have a heart attack someday just like every other male on my dad's side of the family. So, I may as well make my heart attack less damaging that it would be if I lived my current unhealthy lifestyle. I ordered the quit smoking book William J used, and I've already lost 15 lbs since March. I'm at 194, I'm looking at 180 or 175 to get in my prime pimpin' form. I'm on my way, I just need to start a hell of a lot sooner than I want to. I reckon I could drink only Miller Lite, but I'm going to have to ween myself off of the high life, and I don't want to do that. Way to go Lady Jane!

    Good deal.

    I don't eat that badly, just my alcohol consumption is keeping my weight on. I've lost 8 lbs also, but took me 6 weeks. If I can lose 7 more by the end of September I'll have reached my goal.

    I need to stop drinking so much also, but it's football season now, so that is doubtful.

    QCH? You weigh 194? You look skinnier than me and we're about the same height. Damn. I'm at 175 currently. I was 190 at X-Mas.
