    hawaii defeats california today in the us championship game. i dont yet know who they will play from the imternational pool for all the marbles. it should be a good game tho.

    The games were much much closer when there were only 4 regions in the US (8 overall). Now that there's 8 in the US (16 overall) teams like Maine and Iowa were able to make it. 6 years ago, Vista California wouldn't even have made it. They would have lost to Hawaii in the West Regional Championship, and Maitland Florida would have played Louisiana in the South. Having more teams makes the competition not as good. If you also remember they had 1 champion for the Latin American region that now includes 3 regions (mexico, Latin America, and the Carribean)

    I ain't the biggest fan of LL baseball but I gotta admit that was one hell of a game with Hawaii walking off.

    that kid will remember that walk off homerun the rest of his life. And what a comeback just to send it to extra innings.

    the ESPN announcer just said "If that homerun doesn't scream 'Aloha means goodbye!' I don't know what does."
