The 49er teams that I have watched the last couple of years are undisciplined compared to teams like Louisville and NC State. Offensively, these teams run their sets and usually take good high % shots. On defense they don't do anything fancy. Everybody seems to know their assignment.
This boils down to coaching or lack there of.

I still don't think Lutz is going to get the Tenn. job. If not, do we want him back? No, I don't blame a guy for looking around and testing the waters. Hell that is the great american way. Make the most you can while you can. However, he can't blame the school and fans for wondering if his heart is 100% in Charlotte. He obviously has notions of grandeur he can't obtain from Charlotte.

I think he owes an explaination. :agreed:

The problem with Charlotte is recruiting against the big in state schools. I would say in that department, Lutz has done a good job, he routinely has a competitive team. However, the players are going to have to get it done on their own because Lutz doesnt help once they get on the court.

Charlotte doesn't really recruit against the big in state schools for obvious reasons. If someone coach is looking at is talking ACC this and ACC that, then he just lays off them. Charlotte has had more luck recruiting up north and other places due to the obvious ACC factor in our own back yard. Demarco, Jobey, and Curtis are rare exceptions. As far as your last point, I'm beginning to believe you may be right.
