You should have picked a new movie after the first time

I don't think that it is worth buying this movie. Interview with the Vampire is very great movie, but in Blu-ray version you won't find anithing new. It's old movie, without masive soundtrack, without close-ups. So, quality on Blu-ray will be a little better and all.

It depends on the conversion and what they're able to update. Some transfers are done to where you notice but others are no better than your DVD.

I have numerous BluRay Disc that had excellent transfers and enhancements to bluray. UP, Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, Forrest Gump, Dark Knight and many others.

I use this site that will tell you the quality of the conversion, for video and audio.

Yeah, lazy conversions of catalog titles will not help blu-ray adoption.
