    You are a fucking idiot. Guthridge went to 2 Final Fours in 3 years. Which is one more than your pansy ass program has EVER been to. Roy went to 3 Final Fours at Kansas and also happens to have the best winning percentage of any coach in history (as of the start of this season - don't know how this year affected it).

    People said that McGuire was THE program too. How'd that work out, Einstein?

    And the Heels have dick to do with this fucking subject any way.

    Quit calling Barry an idiot, that's my job.

    BTW, he is right, Dean was the program. Gutheridge did go to two FFs but with Dean's guys. Best commment I ever heard was from my buddy Floyd, I told him Gutheridge got a T in the Duke game and he said "what the fuck did he do? Fall asleep and fall on the court?"

    Doherty got ran out on a rail because you fucks just had to have ole Roy. He's got one thing in common with Dean, they do the least with the most talent of any coaches ever. Dean won 2 championships with similar talent to what Wooden had (if not more), so don't even try to disagree with that.

    He went to his first one with Dean's guys, but the second one was with a good number of guys he recruited. As an alum, I am totally embarassed by the way that Badour treated Matt. It was inexcusable and indefensible.

    As for Dean not winning more and having the best talent- I both agree and disagree. There were teams that he had with boatloads of talent - 1984 for instance - that got knocked off too early. But they also had some bad luck. Running up against McGuire in his final game, guys getting hurt in the tourney. These aren't excuses - just facts of life. Shit happens. But Dean also took some decidely mediocre talent and made them very dangerous teams. Some of those late 80's-early 90's teams were pretty freaking bad.

    I would be happy to bet anyone here that UNC has great success over the next 7-10 years - including Roy's first championship. And I KNOW that they will be better than UNCC over that stretch.

    Actually the 1993 team wasn't truly impressive talent wise, but they won.
