Is it me or have the referrees been pitiful?

Maybe I am just way to much of a Panthers fan - but the referees have been terrible the last couple of games. They seems to be killing the Panthers with VERY big calls that kill BIG plays for us. Is that true, or am I watching with my CatGlasses on??

Carolina - 14-106
Dallas - 9-71

And that is with the Panthers being the aggressor most of the game and playing extremely conservative on offense as well.

Just seems a bit weird to me to see that big a difference, given those terms.

 

In general, there's been too much officiating this year, league wide.

Last night was a good example. There were some ticky-tack pass interference calls on both sides. Two on Rumph, one on a Seatle Tight End.

I'd like to see the officials keep their flags in their pocket more.

However, things like those False Starts are automatic calls, so I don't think the Panthers have too much of a gripe. I thought a couple of holding calls were a bit much though.

 

It could be worse for you guys.

The Panthers could play in the Big 10. Worst I've EVER seen this year - and that conference is always bad.
