I know its early, but the Yanks are stuggling to play up to their potential and have a league low in batting average. The normally quiet Rangers are playing the best baseball in years and are tied for first in their division. If I remember correctly the Rangers were playing decent before acquiring Rodriguez and he was supposed to be the final element to earn them a championship. Maybe someone in Seattle cursed whatever team(s) that Rodriguez would ever play for. I don't know but its odd, ecspecially considering the lineup that the Yankees have.

The Rangers have some great young hitters.

arod just needs to realize the whole team is full of bats..he doesn't need to hit one out every time. He'll be fine. The team just needs to gel and actually play as a team.
