Huge "if" there. Under the right circumstances, all of us "might consider" giving our lives to fight an occupying force.

Got an excuse as to why it is ok for them to issue death warrants on authors of books they do not like?

Show me that, verbatim, in the Qur'an.

Got a reference from the Qur'an that backs him up?

I gotta hand it to you Hasbeens.... You're a lot more patient and understanding with people than I could ever be. And while I know you probably won't make much of it, you're living by example and that's a great inspiration to us all, even those who aren't Christians. :applause:

pakistan is a bad example. the whole reason pakistan came into being was because the muslims in india didn't want to be ruled by hindus so they negotiated their own deal when india was given independence. muslims areas were to be pakistan and hindu areas were to be india. this is what lead to kashmir being a problem (as well as general violence not long after british left). each side says kashmir is theirs by the nature of the people living there.

ghandi was an amazing person who really helped usher the process along as peacefully as he could (indians employed terrorist tactics prior to ghandi taking over the movement). i think it's asking a bit much to expect another ghandi to step up to the plate in iraq or iran or saudi arabia or where-ever.

God has been, and continues to be, even more patient with me. Just trying to be obedient and pass it forward.

    Ephesians 4:2
"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."

Thanks, though. I appreciate the compliment. :mushy:

actually, the chechyns ARE muslim.... in their eyes, anyway.

i agree with thelt that there are more muslim terrorists than non-muslim, but i don't believe that means much. just like there are more white males who are serial killers.
