Damn, son. You switch gears faster than a Republican railing against Rent-A-Boys.

Flash won't be gone until after HTML5 is fully accessable, and at this point Safari can't even support the full functionality of HTML5.

I'm just basing it on what a few Flash developers have told me. One of my best friends has made a living on Flash for 10 years now. He says he's gets very few new Flash jobs and is re-doing most of his earlier client's sites without Flash.....says it's just losing it's demand.

Oh I can see where the demand for new projects will dwindle. HTML5 IS on the way. Its just not quite ready for primetime. Like I said though its biggest hurdle will be getting people to upgrade browsers. People don't seem to like to do that. Its gonna take IE9, Firefox 4, whatever the next version of Safari, etc. to be installed on PCs/Macs and people have to be willing to use it. You'll get that crop of "IE8 works fine for me. I'm not changing." (Replace your favorite browser name with IE8 to cover all crowds.)

Once those people get converted, THEN we'll see Flash pretty much disappear.

It fits what I need almost perfectly. The ability to download guidebooks, maps, applications specific to booking hostels, and it's size and weight is exactly what I need. It's still grossly overpriced and lacking in a few simple features.

After travelling with it for several weeks I need to find a way to sell, trade, or just eat the cost and get a real computer. Not only can you not upload pictures from it, but also my bank(s) won't allow me to log in using it in order to access online banking.

Useless for travel, what a shame, seems to be what it was made for
