i think i might have brought one home with me from my honeymoon. i have not had a pleasureable bowel movement since the day i got back. i get those lovely diarrhea cramps about 3 times a day followed by a very painful loose movement.

anyone ever have a parasite? or might it just be nerves due to several busy weeks at work...

does immodium or one of the anti-diarrhea meds stop it?

poop in a plastic cup and drop it off to the doctors office and they will run an ova and parasites test on it.

usually (not always) parasites cause diarrhea.

i'd like to try something less invasive first. i'm thinking about flushing with epsom salts and tonic water.

My 9 year old complained of a crampy feeling in his stomach/ribs and had a really slightly raised temp this past Friday. He's usually a little more complainy than my other kids (takes after me), so I wasn't sure if it was real or not. Today, I know he described it perfectly. Not nauseous enough to totally lose appetite, but just not quite right, and a little crampy with pain in the ribs.
