    Larry Brown is a caretaker for Phil Ford. Larry Brown will only coach about 3-4 yrs max. This will be his last job.

    Interesting developments.

    This would make sense in a round about way. It's proper etiquette to watch after one another in the "family". My scenario would bring Brown to UNC for a maximum of 5 years with an early buyout included in the deal. This is included in case Kansas wins a title and Williams is ready to pursue "other interests". Baddour is immediately fired! Meanwhile, Roy Williams would stay at Kansas to pursue "unfinished business". Then Roy can finally return to Carolina to finish his coaching career following Brown's tenure and everyone is happy. The only missing links to this scenario is if Kansas can't win a title in the meantime, and the future of Phil Ford.
