Says the Panthers know who they would take if the draft was tomorrow, and that they're still waiting on a trade call. One article says it's between Peppers, Jammer, and an 'unknown'. Another article says Peppers, Jammer, and Buchanon. Most of this we knew and have discussed, but I, at least, didn't know they have tentatively decided.

  2. Rhetorical question - why does the Gaston Gazette do a better job than the Observer?

Nice move on the "unknown" - I'm sure that's to arouse other teams into trying to trade up.

I don't expect we trade the pick, we sit tight, and take Peppers.

I also anticipate the CBs we prefer will go in the first round, leaving our 2nd pick even more up in the air.

hurney said the third guy was 'unknown' back on monday's primetime with the packman show on wfnz.

everyone assumed he meant harrington, but he wouldn't say. he did say that the pick had to be an immediate impact, home un guy.

    that rules out harrington.

I'd assume it to mean Buchanon. But did Philip even come to interview? Could be Sims, to get people off our asses about Peppers if we traded down.

I don't care at this point, just no Harrington.

    That was a great interview.

The current staff seems alot more media friendly.

Yes - Buchanon. One article said 'unknown', the other said 'Buchanon'.

What I want to know is can we trade Scott Fowler for one of these Gaston Sports writers? A few of those guys make Scott Fowler look like Opie Taylor - uh wait, he already looks like that...:D
