This is one of those arguments that is flawed from the inception. As VP said, teams that run and have an inside game get more FT's. Also, teams that have leads late shoot more free throws. Packer's Infamous ACC Index card is a fallacy when used to determine which team "gets the calls."Do some teams and players get breaks? Sure, but this stat is a bad basis for the argument.

 

No fucking shit. Doesn't stop anyone from using these stats over the last years of Duke's dominance as evidence they get favorable calls though does it?

Packer is a moron. Gary Williams always points to this stat while Terping about the refs.

 

So you bring the stats yourself why?

I don't think anybody or at least I am not saying dook is dominant because of these calls. dook has had some really good teams, the better teams get the calls, plain and simple.

My basis which is my opinion from watching the games, not just dook games bt other ACC teams as well, they get more than their share of calls compared to other teams.

Just like it's your opinion that they don't.

To show the hypocrisy. No other reason. When you ask all these people why they think Duke gets all the calls these stats are their first line of defense. Funny how everyone discounts them when it comes to their school though.
