    Which one? It says a differential on the first one, meaning that on average, UNC shoots almost 9 more foul shots than its opponents. What would 1.3% more mean? UNC shoots 1.3 foul shots for every 1 that its opponent shoots? In that case the Dook numbers don't add up.

    Read the whole thread you quoted the second stats from.

    p.s. not every foul is a shooting foul so trying to tie those numbers is futile.

    You are trying to compare fouls in general to foul shots

    Yeah, I thought about that, but only 6 of them are free. After that you go to the line. And one of your assertions is tha Dook gets fouled more because they are leading - and the reason you keep fouling is to make them make FT.

    6 each half not counting player controlled fouls. Dukes numbers are probably inflated more because they convert the first half of most of their one and ones.
