I agree, but the problem is that there appear to be ZERO "dominating" offensive linemen in the 2003 draft. There is no one close to as dominant as tackles Mike Williams or Leonard Davis, OR guards Steve Hutchinson or Toniu Fonoti.
There is no "Peppers" equivalent this year, at ANY position. MAYBE there's a Levi Jones and a Marc Colombo and an Andre Gurode level o-lineman in 2003 but any of them would be a reach pick at #9.
Cincinnati reached for OT Levi Jones at #10 in last year’s draft. I don’t want us to “Bungle” a top 10 pick. I know Jones figures to be a “good” tackle and not as bad a pick as originally thought but we have got to be able to get better value at #9 than Gross or Harris. We need to do better than just “good” in the top 10.

If that's the case, then unless THE guy we want is on the board @#9, I hope they trade down.

Gross will take a fall, IMO. I'm starting to smell weight room warrior. He isn't big, and played against lesser competition, and what I've read suggests he's not agile. Given that he stayed away from the Senior Bowl, he takes a drop.
